Hot stone therapy combines massage with the application of hot and or cold stones, massaged over or placed upon specific areas of the body. Application of heat and cold causes constriction and dilation of blood vessels resulting in increased circulation to the tissues. This helps remove metabolites, decrease swelling and increase tissue healing. Stone therapy can improve back/shoulder/neck pain, improve lymphatic circulation, decrease menstrual/joint/headache and sciatic pain and reduce overall stress. Appointment required.
